The Liquid Crystal exhibition, which was formerly hosted at the University of Siegen, has now been relocated to the birthplace of liquid crystal research, the Department of Physics of the University of Karlsruhe, Germany. Read more in Liquid Crystals Today

The first All-Russian Conference on Liquid Crystals will be held September 17-21. 2012 in the city of Ivanovo, some 300 km north-east of Moscow. Although the official conference language is Russian, the first day will be devoted to a series of invited talks being given in English. The social program organised for foreign attendees will be very rewarding.
