  • Three-year PhD positions within Marie Curie Initial Training Network ”HIERARCHY” are available at the Soft Matter Laboratory of J.Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia, under the supervision of Prof. Igor Muševič. The objectives of PhD programmes are to understand the physics behind colloidal and nanoparticle self-assembly in liquid crystals, with the aim to assemble electric-field controlled photonic crystals, optical metamaterials and optical microcavities, based on liquid crystals.
