From September 27 to October 2, 2027, the 22^nd International Conference on Optics of Liquid Crystals (OLC 2027) will be held in Yerevan, Armenia.

For more than four decades, the OLC conference series has served as a premier international forum for presenting and discussing fundamental and applied research in liquid crystals and their optical applications. Throughout its history, OLC has facilitated the exchange of ideas across disciplines, fostering collaboration and contributing to the advancement of both scientific understanding and technological innovation.

After sixteen years, the OLC conference series returns to Armenia, where the 2011 meeting provided a memorable forum for scientific exchange and international collaboration. Building on this legacy, OLC 2027 will bring together researchers, engineers, and students from around the world to discuss recent advances and future directions in liquid crystal science and technology, soft matter photonics, advanced optical materials, and related interdisciplinary fields.

Hosted by Yerevan State University and supported by Armenia’s optics and photonics community, OLC 2027 will feature plenary lectures, invited talks, contributed oral and poster presentations, and opportunities for interaction among researchers from diverse disciplines.
