It is our pleasure to announce that the 18^th European Conference on Liquid Crystals (ECLC) takes place in June 14^st-18^th 2027 at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.

Aberdeen has a long standing connection to liquid crystal research, with an active hub for this research area. Work on complex liquid crystal phases such as dimeric systems and twist-bend nematic phase helped place the city at the forefront of the discipline.
